Job summary

Integral Diagnostics (IDX) is seeking a caring and personable Registered Nurse for our Sunshine Coast radiology practices located at the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, Maroochydore and Caloundra clinics. You will provide high-quality patient care, assist with BMD, and monitor patients across ultrasound, CT and MRI procedures.

The role requires APHRA registration, with IV cannulation experience preferred and ALS experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with APHRA registration is required.
• IV cannulation experience preferred.
• Advanced Life Support preferred but not essential.
• Ability to respond effectively in emergencies and communicate with a diverse range of medical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of care and service to patients, staff and radiologists.
• Assist with Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD) examinations; training provided.
• Monitor and recover patients undergoing interventional procedures across Ultrasound, CT and MRI.
• Ensure Workplace Health and Safety practices are understood and observed.

Sunshine Coast Radiology is part of the Imaging Queensland and Integral Diagnostic group, one of the largest Radiology providers in Australia with 150 practices located in Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, SA, WA and New Zealand.

Sunshine Coast Radiology (SCR) has been operating for over 16 years on the Sunshine Coast, offering comprehensive practices with services including CT, MRI, Mammography, BMD, general X-Ray, Ultrasound to Nuclear Medicine.

With 13 clinics from Caloundra to Noosa — including three hospital sites — we provide comprehensive imaging services across the region.

About The Role

We are seeking a caring and personable Registered Nurse, for our comprehensive and modern Radiology practices located at the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, Maroochydore and Caloundra clinics.

• Provide a high standard of care and service to our patients, technical staff and Radiologists
• Assisting with Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD) examinations. Training will be provided
• Admission, monitoring and recovery of patients undergoing a variety of interventional procedures. These are performed across multiple modalities such as Ultrasound, CT and MRI
• Ensure Workplace Health and Safety practices are always understood and observed in the workplace
• Working across a few Sunshine Coast locations.
• Sound knowledge and application for post procedure care, recovery and discharge.

About You

• Registered Nurse with current APHRA Registration
• IV Cannulation experience preferred
• Advanced Life Support preferred, but not essential
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations and effective problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to liaise with a diverse range of medical professionals
• Proven ability to contribute to and work as part of a dynamic team in addition to operating independently
• Excellent personal presentation
• Previous surgical or radiology experience would be beneficial
