Job summary

Sunshine Coast Radiology is seeking a motivated Radiographer to join our growing team across the Sunshine Coast. You will perform general X-ray, CT, MRI, bone densitometry, and OPG, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging with support from Radiologists and fellow clinicians.

This role requires a Degree in Medical Imaging and current AHPRA registration; CT experience is highly regarded, and PACS/RIS proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Medical Imaging and current AHPRA registration.
• CT experience is highly regarded and training can be provided.
• Strong knowledge of PACS and RIS required.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Positive, collaborative team player; cannulation desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of imaging procedures across general X-ray, CT, MRI, BMD and OPG.
• Work across private practice and hospital settings within SCR network.
• Maintain high standards of image quality and patient care.
• Collaborate with Radiologists, Sonographers and admin staff to support throughput.

About Sunshine Coast Radiology

Sunshine Coast Radiology (SCR) is seeking a motivated and experienced Radiographer to join our growing team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. With 13 clinics spanning from Caloundra to Cooroy - including two hospital sites - SCR is one of the region's leading imaging providers, delivering high-quality diagnostic services across the coast. We're also excited to be opening a brand-new clinic at Maroochydore Private Hospital in 2026. You'll be joining a highly skilled and supportive team of Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers, and administrative staff who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative and welcoming environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Radiographer, you will perform a broad range of general and advanced imaging procedures across our network, including:

• General X-ray
• CT
• MRI
• Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD)
• OPG

This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your skills while working with modern equipment and experienced teams across both private practice and hospital settings.

About You

• Degree in Medical Imaging
• Current AHPRA registration
• CT experience highly regarded (Siemens experience preferred) - training can be provided
• Strong working knowledge of PACS and RIS
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• A positive and collaborative team player
• Cannulation skills desirable but not essential
