Job summary

Prestige Inhome Care in Bayside requires an experienced Registered Nurse to join our home-based care team. You will deliver high-quality clinical care in clients’ homes, manage medications, and liaise with GPs and specialists.

We value independence, strong communication, and the ability to travel between client locations. AHPRA registration, CPR, and community nursing experience are essential, with flexible rosters and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Substantial post-registration clinical experience across settings is highly regarded.
• CPR certification current within 12 months and willingness to obtain NDIS check.

Registered Nurse

We are looking for an experienced RN/EN to join our team in the Bayside area, providing high-quality clinical care and support to clients living in their own homes.

The Role

• Observe clients' wellbeing and make recommendations regarding care enhancements to the Case Manager.
• Provide clinical support across a diverse range of clients and care needs.
• Assist clients with social support, personal care and community access where required.
• Administer medications in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate effectively with GPs, specialists and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in client reviews and work collaboratively with clients and their families to evaluate health outcomes.
• Provide wound care, wound management and clinical assessments.
• Support clients with a range of complex and ongoing health conditions.
• Work collaboratively with the broader care team to ensure safe, person-centred care.

ABOUT YOU

You are a confident and compassionate RN/EN who enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive team.

You will be:

• Calm and confident when managing changing or urgent situations.
• Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities.
• Flexible and adaptable when supporting clients with different clinical needs.

• Experience in Palliative care will be an added advantage

YOU WILL HAVE

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Substantial post-registration clinical experience, with experience across a range of clinical settings highly regarded.
• Recent clinical experience and demonstrated competency in areas such as wound care, dementia, acute care and palliative care.
• Experience supporting clients with neurological, cardiac and respiratory conditions.
• Previous community nursing experience is highly advantageous.
• Experience in aged care is highly regarded, together with exposure to acute clinical environments.
• Experience with fall prevention, seizure management and PEG feeding is desirable.
• Current CPR certification, issued within the last 12 months.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
• A current Australian driver's licence.
• Access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle with appropriate comprehensive insurance.
• Availability to work at least four weekdays per week.
• Ability and willingness to travel between client locations, including approximately 30-45 minutes between appointments where required.
