Job summary

Calvary Ryde Aged Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis, across a variety of shifts. This role offers the chance to contribute to high‑quality care for residents while enjoying flexible hours and supportive colleagues.

You will conduct assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote resident well‑being across night shifts.

Qualifications

• Current APHRA registration in good standing.
• Knowledge of aged care legislation and compliance.
• Commitment to contemporary aged care practice.
• Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience in assessment and care planning for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and document findings.
• Develop and implement personalised care plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effects.

About The Role

Calvary is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse - Aged Care to join our team in Ryde on a Casual basis working across variety of shifts. This is an opportunity to be part of an organisation that values its staff and is committed to providing exceptional care to our residents.

As a Registered Nurse - Aged Care, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained for our elderly residents during the night shift. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing personalised care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the holistic well‑being of our residents.

About You

• Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care
• Commitment to contemporary aged care practice
• Ability to support and lead a multi-disciplinary team
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in assessment and care planning of the older person
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
