Calvary Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for casual and fixed-term work in Bruce, ACT. The role covers September to December on a casual basis, followed by a full-time fixed-term roster from December for 6–8 months.

About The Role

As the Registered Nurse you are responsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents.

What You Bring

• Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
• Recent experience working in residential aged care.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care
• Ability to support and lead a multi- disciplinary team
• Knowledge on the restrictive practices and behavioural management
• Experience in a clinical leadership role with ability to manage day to day clinical issues
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
