Job summary

Calvary Lakes Entrance is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership across the home, ensuring compliant, high‑quality care for residents.

You will support a patient-centered, dignity-driven care approach, supervise care staff, manage clinical needs including wound, diabetes and behavioural management, and contribute to a warm, supportive team.

NDIS checks, WHS knowledge and strong communication are valued; pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• NDIS Clearance check or willing to obtain one.
• High level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
• An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing.
• Understanding of and ability to manage human resource issues with effective negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand and use information technology and programs such as Word, Excel, etc. and to learn new skills as required.
• Current National police check
• Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control

Position Description

Registered Nurse - Lakes Entrance

As the Registered Nurse you are responsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the clinical care needs of the residents across the home, supporting their individual needs, wishes and goals within an environment where they feel valued and treated with dignity and respect.
