Job summary

Cura Day Hospitals Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the perioperative team at Sydney Surgical Centre in Sydney. The role focuses on theatre scrub/scout with responsibilities across ophthalmology, maxillofacial, orthopaedics, plastics and reconstructive and pain management.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years perioperative scrub/scout experience, strong communication and decision-making, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of scrub / scout perioperative experience in Ophthalmology, Maxillofacial, Orthopaedics, Plastics & Reconstructive, Pain Management
• Highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
• Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
• Working with Children's Check and Police Check
• COVID vaccination and immunisation history as per Category A Healthcare worker
