Alor Group partners with leading private hospitals and day surgeries in Western Sydney to recruit Scrub Scout Registered Nurses for perioperative services.

Opportunities span Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Spinal and Ophthalmology, with roles in high-volume elective theatres. Permanent full-time and part-time (0.8 PTE) positions are available, offering modern facilities and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years' post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Proven recent Scrub Scout experience across Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, ENT and/or Ophthalmology.
• Demonstrated ability to scrub a range of procedures in acute private or public hospital settings.
• Excellent knowledge of aseptic technique and perioperative best practice.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for high-volume surgical lists across Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, ENT and/or Spinal.
• Collaborate with perioperative teams to ensure efficient theatre flow.
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and patient safety standards.
• Support patient-centred care throughout the perioperative pathway.

About the Opportunity:

Alor Group are partnering with three leading private hospitals and day surgeries across Western Sydney, seeking experienced Scrub Scout Registered Nurses to join their established Perioperative Services teams.

Opportunities are available across Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Spinal and Ophthalmology, with roles suited to experienced theatre nurses looking to work across high-volume elective surgical lists in modern private settings.

Whether you are seeking exposure to complex joint replacement and spinal procedures, neuro cases or a specialist day-surgery environment, we have permanent full-time and part-time (0.8 PTE) opportunities available.

About the Theatre Departments:

• Opportunities across three leading Western Sydney private hospitals and day surgeries
• Theatre complexes ranging from small to large operating theatres
• High-volume Orthopaedic programs, including joint replacements, arthroscopy, trauma and robotic-assisted procedures
• Dedicated Neurosurgical and Spinal surgery exposure
• ENT and Ophthalmology opportunities, including cataract and other specialist eye procedures
• Modern theatres with advanced surgical technology and equipment
• Supportive multidisciplinary teams working alongside highly regarded surgeons

About You

• Minimum 3-5 years' post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse
• Proven recent Scrub Scout experience, ideally across Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, ENT and/or Ophthalmology
• Demonstrated ability to confidently scrub a range of procedures within an acute private or public hospital setting
• Excellent knowledge of aseptic technique and perioperative best practice
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care
• Ability to work across a rotating theatre roster, including on-call where required (hospitals only)
