Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Home Care team serving communities across Parkes, Forbes, Peak Hill and surrounding areas. You will deliver nursing care to older clients living at home, align with aged care standards and promote independence and safety.

Reporting to the Senior Nurse Consultant, you will conduct assessments, plan and coordinate care, educate clients, monitor outcomes and advocate for clients while travelling within the region.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse qualifications with current AHPRA registration
• Minimal 12 months clinical experience in acute or aged care sector
• Current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence with minimum Third-Party Damage Insurance
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Intermediate level of computer skills
• Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare’s Christian identity and promote the organisation’s values through interactions at work

Registered Nurse

About your Role

As a Registered Nurse with BaptistCare Home Care, you will be supporting clients in the Parkes, Forbes, Peak Hill and surrounding areas, and will play a vital role in providing high- quality care to clients living at home. You will ensure care aligns with aged care quality standards while promoting independence, safety, and an improved quality of life. Reporting to the Senior Nurse Consultant, your key responsibilities will be:

Your working hours

This position is full time, 38 hours per week. There is a wide travel radius, and travel will be reimbursed as per the BaptistCare NSW and ACT Aged Care Enterprise Agreement.
