Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking a Registered Nurse at Caloola Centre Aged Care Home in Wagga Wagga. You will provide compassionate, resident-centred care and lead a caring team to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• Current AHPRA Registration required.

About the Role:

Located at Wagga Wagga, Caloola Centre Aged Care Home is a welcoming and homely aged care home offering 24-hour, care and support to residents.

As a Registered Nurse, you will enable individuals to live well by applying loving care in all that you do and inspiring your team to do the same. In understanding the unique needs and preferences of each resident in your care, you’ll deliver best practice clinical care that leads with heart. You’ll develop genuine connections and build confidence and trust with your resident and their loved ones whilst supervising and leading your team.

We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from$47.13 - $56.87/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Hold experience in a clinical leadership role and the proven ability to work with a team
• Understand requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
