Job summary

HammondCare Waratah is seeking an experienced Part-time Registered Nurse to join our night shift team. You will work 9:00 pm to 7:00 am on a rotating pattern, providing person-centred, relationship-focused care to residents and collaborating with the home management and carers.

As an RN, you will mentor staff, advise on clinical care, and ensure safety and comfort while complying with AHPRA requirements.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• 2-3 years' experience in aged care preferred.
• Demonstrated dementia care knowledge and compassionate patient focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred nursing care overnight to residents.
• Educate and support care staff in clinical tasks.
• Support clinical decision making and resident comfort.

The care you will provide will be person-centred, and relationship focused, with the understanding that no person is the same.Shift pattern - week 1 - Tuesday - Thursday 9.00pm - 7.00amWeek 2 - Monday to Thursday 9.00pm - 7.00am = 70 hours FortnightAbout the role:This role is a clinical support role. It is the expectation from HammondCare that this role is carried out within a consultative and advisory context rather than an authoritarian approach.
