Job summary

HammondCare Waratah is seeking a Casual Service Support Employee - Cleaner to help maintain high cleanliness standards across our domestic support areas within a care environment.

The role requires flexibility to cover various shifts, including weekends, and a compassionate approach when interacting with residents, some living with dementia. Candidates should have commercial cleaning experience and be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• MUST have Cleaning experience in a commercial environment
• MUST be willing to communicate with people living with dementia
• Value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative
• Follow all cleaning guidelines & schedules for all equipment & working surfaces
• Demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling and standard precautions
