Job summary

I-MED Radiology Network seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing support and recovery services in the North-West Region of Melbourne, including Epping and Coolaroo. The full-time permanent role runs Monday to Friday, 8.30am–4.30pm, with opportunities for weekend and on-call work after upskilling.

You will assist radiologists during interventional procedures, monitor baseline observations, and support a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Proven acute nursing experience.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible roster.
• Registered nursing experience (2-3 years).

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiologist for interventional procedures, including consent and history.
• Monitor baseline observations and recover patients post-procedure.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, staff and managers.

I-MED Radiology Network is pleased to be offering an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing support and recovery services to the busy team within the North-West Region of Melbourne including Epping and Coolaroo. This will be a Full-time Permanent role working Monday-Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm with opportunities for weekend and on-call work with successful upskilling, reporting to theNursing Co-ordinatorand working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Key Accountabilities Include

• Assist the Radiologist for interventional procedures, including gaining informed consent and medical history assessment, monitoring baseline observations and recovering patients post procedure.
• Interventional Procedures Include:Biopsies, Lumbar Punctures, Drainages and Pain Management Injections.
• Working collaboratively with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, technical and administrative staff and managers

Key Selection Criteria

• Full AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Proven acute nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and autonomously within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Well-developed time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work a flexible roster
• Registered nursing experience (2-3 years)

Desirable But Not Essential

• Previous Experience in Radiology/Surgical/Procedural Nursing
• Anaesthetic Experience
