I-MED Radiology Network is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Mildura Base Public Hospital. The successful candidate will perform radiopharmaceutical preparation, QC, and related nuclear medicine procedures, delivering patient-centered care in a busy hospital and private practice setting.

Qualifications

• Nuclear Medicine qualification and registration as required by local regulatory bodies.
• AHPRA registration and VIC radiation license are mandatory.

Job description

Based at our Mildura Base Public Hospital site a permanent full-time opportunity exists for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our friendly and collaborative team.

Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard.

As the area's main provider of radiology services at both Mildura Base Public Hospital and our Healthscope court clinic rooms, you will be exposed to a multitude of unique and interesting cases, including Cardiac Imaging.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment in accordance with professional standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and energetic person who is willing to learn in a busy private practice and hospital settings.

This position could be suited to a new graduate or a more established Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
• Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
• Applicants must be AHPRA Registered and hold an VIC radiation license
