Job summary

Bolton Clarke Winders Lodge in Banora Point, NSW, is seeking a Funding Coordinator to lead AN-ACC funding processes in a residential aged care setting. You will collaborate with clinical teams to ensure funding aligns with care needs and maintain high-quality documentation.

As a Registered Nurse with AN-ACC knowledge, you will coach staff, manage funding outcomes for admissions, and support continuous improvement, with not-for-profit benefits and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in aged care or funding, quality, compliance or clinical coordination roles.
• Knowledge of AN-ACC funding and assessment processes.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate AN-ACC processes across the residential home.
• Review resident care needs and identify funding optimisation opportunities.
• Ensure clinical documentation supports funding claims.
• Collaborate with RNs, clinical managers and allied health to gather evidence.
• Monitor resident changes and facilitate reassessments.
• Deliver education, coaching and support on AN-ACC requirements.
• Coordinate AN-ACC meetings and support assessment visits.
• Provide guidance on predicted funding outcomes for admissions.
• Support leadership to drive continuous improvement and compliance.

About the Role

As the Funding Coordinator, you will provide leadership and support in the delivery of the home’s AN-ACC program, ensuring residents receive appropriate funding aligned to their care requirements. You will collaborate with clinical teams, allied health professionals, and medical practitioners to maintain high-quality documentation and assessment processes

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage AN-ACC processes across the residential home.
• Review resident care needs and identify opportunities for funding optimisation.
• Ensure clinical documentation, assessments, care plans and progress notes accurately support funding claims.
• Partner with Registered Nurses, Clinical Managers, Allied Health Professionals and Medical Officers to gather supporting evidence.
• Monitor resident changes and facilitate reassessments where appropriate.
• Deliver education, coaching and support to clinical teams on AN-ACC requirements and best-practice documentation.
• Coordinate AN-ACC meetings and support assessment visits.
• Provide guidance on predicted funding outcomes for potential admissions.
• Work collaboratively with leadership teams to drive continuous improvement and compliance.

To be successful, you will have

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and coaching abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience working as a Registered Nurse within aged care.
• Knowledge of AN-ACC funding and assessment processes.
• Experience in funding, quality, compliance or clinical coordination roles.
• Understanding of aged care legislation and funding frameworks.
