Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a casual role at Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital. You will deliver patient‑centred nursing care and contribute to the coordination of services within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse.

Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis, providing high quality, patient centred care across our services. This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible and motivated nurse who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment and values working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care, assessing and monitoring patient needs, and contributing to the overall coordination of care. You will utilise your clinical knowledge and experience to support patients and their families, while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to professional standards and organisational policies. Your ability to respond to changing priorities, communicate effectively, and demonstrate sound clinical judgement will be essential.

What you will bring to the role

• Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
• Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as a registered Nurse).
• Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
• Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
• Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills
