Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time position at Gympie Aged Care Facility. You will provide person-centred care, ensuring a safe environment and applying clinical skills to improve residents' quality of life.

Role requires excellent communication, time management and the ability to work autonomously, with 6 months nursing experience post-registration. AHPRA registration and NDIS clearance are required; Aged care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months general nursing experience post-registration.
  • Aged care nursing experience preferred but not essential.
  • Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements.

About the role:

As a Registered Nurse provide person-centred care to your residents, ensuring a safe environment within the facility and applying your clinical skills to improving their quality of life through activities that include:

  • Assess, plan and implement client care within your scope
  • Consider physical, social and psychological requirements
  • Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs
  • Ensure clinical quality compliance standards are met
  • Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members

Role requirements:

  • Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Confidence in managing your time effectively , including an ability to work autonomously
  • Minimum of 6 months general nursing experience post-registration is required
  • Aged care nursing experience is preferred but not essential for this role
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements
  • Flexibility and willingness to work across Morning, Afternoon and Night Shifts
