Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver community-based, person-centred care across Beaudesert, Boonah and surrounding areas. You will assess, plan and implement nursing care, update care plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve clients’ quality of life.

Essential AHPRA registration, nursing experience and a valid driver’s license are required. Travel between locations is expected, with salary packaging and other Not-for-Profit benefits available.

• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred nursing care in the community.

• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary team members to ensure quality care.
• Spend the day visiting clients in Beaudesert, Boonah and surrounding areas.

About the role:

As a Registered Nurse you will provide person-centred care to your clients in the community, ensuring a safe environment and applying your clinical skills to improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Assess, plan and implement client care within your scope
• Consider physical, social and psychological requirements
• Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs
• Ensure clinical quality compliance standards are met
• Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members

Role requirements:

• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements - Essential
• General nursing experience, post-registration
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
• Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
