Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Kingaroy Canowindra Aged Care Facility. Provide person-centred care and work in a supportive team to enhance residents' quality of life.

This casual role requires 6–12 months general nursing experience post-registration, AHPRA registration, and willingness to obtain NDIS Screening Clearance. Night shifts are essential; remuneration ranges from $55.70 to $70.18 per hour plus benefits.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse provide person-centred care to your residents, ensuring a safe environment within the facility and applying your clinical skills to improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Assess, plan and implement client care within your scope
• Consider physical, social and psychological requirements
• Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs
• Ensure clinical quality compliance standards are met
• Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members

Role Requirements

• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously
• Minimum 6-12 months of general nursing experience following AHPRA registration is required
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements
• Previous aged care experience is preferred but not required
