Job summary

Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a casual role at our Bateau Bay NSW site. You will provide holistic nursing care and participate in care planning, with rotating shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights.

Current AHPRA registration with aged care or hospital experience is required. You will communicate effectively with residents and staff, with ANACC knowledge and documentation duties as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with aged care or hospital experience.
• Ability to work a rotating roster including morning, afternoon and night duties.
• Effective communication with residents and care staff.
• Understanding of ANACC, charting, assessments, documentation and funding submissions.

Registered Nurse - Casual Role

Your role will incorporate:

• Complete holistic assessments
• Develop appropriate care plans

You are a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse who endeavors to provide safe and effective direct nursing care in line with nursing best practice principles.

To achieve this, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and demonstrated Aged Care/Hospital experience
• Availability to work a rotating roster which includes morning, afternoon and night duties
• Ability to communicate effectively and patiently with a range of Residents with a variety of health issues
• A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with older people
• Understanding of ANACC, including charting, assessments, documentation and funding submissions
