Job summary

BlueCare in Cairns (South) & surrounding areas is hiring a Registered Nurse for community care on a permanent part-time basis. You will assess, plan and implement client care across physical, social and psychological needs, while creating care plans and ensuring quality standards.

The role involves road visits and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Remuneration ranges from $45.29 to $57.06 per hour, plus superannuation, Not-for-Profit salary packaging, allowances, and travel

Qualifications

  • Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and work entitlements
  • General nursing experience, post-registration
  • Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Current Australian driver's licence (Green Provisional minimum)
  • Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work

Role requirements:
  • Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements - Essential
  • General nursing experience, post-registration
  • Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
  • Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
  • Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
