Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide person-centred community care in Bundaberg and surrounding areas. You will visit clients on the road, assess needs, and deliver high-quality care with a focus on safety and quality outcomes.

As an essential member of the team, you’ll work autonomously, manage time effectively, and comply with probity and driving requirements.

Qualifications

• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements.
• General nursing experience, post-registration.
• Current driver’s license with ability to drive for work.
• Vehicle must be roadworthy and insured (minimum Third Party Property).
• Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously.
• Willingness to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement client care within your scope.
• Consider physical, social and psychological requirements of clients.
• Create and update care plans reflecting developing needs.
• Ensure compliance with clinical quality standards.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members.
• Deliver care across community visits, often on the road.

• Employment Status: Permanent Part Time
• Location: Bundaberg & Surrounding Areas
• Remuneration: $45.29 - $57.06p/h + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM’s) + Employee discounts
• Classification: QRN1.1 – QRN1.7 determined by demonstrated clinical hours and experience

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse you will provide person-centred care to your clients in the community, ensuring a safe environment and applying your clinical skills to improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Assess, plan and implement client care within your scope
• Consider physical, social and psychological requirements
• Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs
• Ensure clinical quality compliance standards are met
• Work collaboratively with other multi-disciplinary team members

Role Requirements

• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements - Essential
• General nursing experience, post-registration
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
• Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
