Job summary

Kangaroo Point Medical Centre is seeking a confident, organised Registered Nurse to join our busy general practice. The successful candidate will perform immunisations, wound care, venepuncture and cannulation, administer iron infusions, conduct health assessments and support chronic disease management.

Experience in assisting doctors with minor procedures and working under pressure is essential. Reliable, proactive team players with strong communication to patients and staff are encouraged to

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with experience in general practice nursing
• Confident with immunisations, wound care, venepuncture and cannulation, iron infusions, health assessments, chronic disease management and assisting doctors with minor procedures
• Able to work efficiently under pressure and manage a high patient workload
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently when required
• Communicates well with patients and staff
• Experience using Best Practice software highly regarded
• Previous experience in procedural medicine or assisting with in-clinic procedures advantageous
