Job summary

Lutheran Services Australia is recruiting for Casual Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses in Biloela to join Wahroonga Aged Care. You will provide high quality, person-centred care to residents, collaborate with the care team and support assessments, care planning and documentation.

Eligible candidates will hold current AHPRA registration (RN or EN as applicable), nursing degree or equivalent, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or be eligible to obtain).

Qualifications

• Must hold current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Must hold degree or postgraduate qualification in Nursing.
• Must have current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or eligible to obtain).
• For Enrolled Nurse, must hold unrestricted Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and direct resident care.
• Administer medications within your scope of practice.
• Support assessments, care planning and clinical documentation.
• Monitor residents’ health and respond to changes.
• Support wound care, chronic disease management and palliative care.
• Collaborate with residents, families and the care team.

Remuneration:

Registered Nurse: $52.73 - $62.53 ph (includes 25% casual loading) + Super + Salary Packaging + Staff Discounts & Benefits

Enrolled Nurse: $52.30 ph (includes 25% casual loading) + Super + Salary Packaging + Staff Discounts & Benefits

About the Role:

You will provide safe, high-quality and person-centred care to our residents while working collaboratively with our nursing and care team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing clinical and direct resident care
• Medication administration within your scope of practice
• Supporting assessments, care planning and clinical documentation
• Monitoring residents’ health and responding to changing clinical needs
• Supporting wound care, chronic disease management and palliative care
• Working collaboratively with residents, families and the wider care team

What You’ll Bring as a Registered Nurse:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Nursing
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
