Job summary

Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT – Lavington NSW is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to join our caring team across shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays.

You will deliver safe, person-centred care and support residents’ wellbeing, dignity and independence with adaptability and clinical excellence in a not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an RN in an Aged Care setting.
• Strong commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
• Solid understanding of State and Commonwealth Aged Care legislation.
• Availability to work varied shifts (morning, afternoon, night & weekends).
• Working knowledge of AN-ACC, including assessments, documentation, and funding submissions.

Responsibilities

• Conducting initial and ongoing assessments, planning and managing nursing care.
• Developing and reviewing individualised care plans to meet residents’ changing needs.
• Participating in quarterly care plan reviews (or more frequently where required).
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation in line with SCC policies and quality standards.
• Ensuring the completion and accuracy of ACFI claims.
• Supporting best practice clinical care in a collaborative team environment.

We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Casual Registered Nurse to join our beautiful Lavington team. This role is ideal for an RN who values flexibility and is willing to work across a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
