Job summary

Contract Care Recruitment is seeking Registered Midwives to work across Sydney private and public hospitals. You can pick midwifery shifts including birth unit, antenatal, post-natal and special care nursery, with night shifts prioritized and day/evening/weekend options.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Midwife
• At least 12 months' experience as a Midwife in an Australian healthcare setting
• Current National Police Check and Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid/CPR or BLS certification
• Immunisation history statement
• Relevant working rights for Australia

Contract Care is a Sydney healthcare staffing agency specialising in placing qualified midwives across the private hospital sector in NSW. Our midwifery desk connects you with birth unit, antenatal, post-natal and special care nursery shifts at private hospitals right across Sydney.

About the role

Do you love midwifery but want more control over when and where you work?

Pick up agency midwifery shifts across Sydney private hospitals, matched to your experience and availability. Work may include birth unit, antenatal ward, post-natal ward and special care nursery.

Night shifts are our current priority, with day, evening and weekend shifts also available — so you can work as much or as little as you like. Take planned shifts booked in advance, or pick up extra work at short notice.

Duties

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred midwifery care on each shift

Skills and experience
