Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.

• Current mandatory certifications relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Providing antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
• Supporting women throughout labour and birth.
• Conducting maternal assessments and monitoring.
• Providing newborn assessments and care.
• Recognising and escalating clinical concerns when required.
• Delivering safe, evidence-based and woman-centred care.
• Supporting breastfeeding and early parenting education.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and care plans.
• Working collaboratively with local maternity teams.
• Supporting positive outcomes for women, newborns and families.

The Role

Key duties include:

Essential Requirements

To be considered, you will need:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife

• Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively within different teams
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
