Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) Hawkesbury District Hospital in Windsor, NSW, is hiring a Registered Midwife to join the dedicated maternity team. You will provide safe, compassionate, woman-centred care across pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period, rotating through the Maternity Ward, Birth Unit, Antenatal Clinics and Midwifery at Home.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Midwife Division 1 with AHPRA
• Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in Midwifery
• Care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services
• Ability to organise and prioritise work
• Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal
• Commitment to professional development
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements

Responsibilities

• Rotate across Maternity Ward, Birth Unit, Antenatal Clinics and Midwifery at Home
• Deliver safe, compassionate maternity care across pregnancy, birth and postnatal period
• Work in partnership with women, families and multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
• Contribute to continuity of care for women and their families
