NSW Health's South Western Sydney Local Health District is looking for a Registered Midwife to join the Midwifery Group Practice as a permanent full-time role (38 hours per week) in Fairfield.

You will deliver relationship-based, continuous care across pregnancy, labour, birth and early parenting, with a focus on vulnerable women, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes for mothers and babies within a supportive service.

Qualifications

• Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
• Registered Midwife with a minimum of 12 months Midwifery post-registration experience and availability for on-call duties.
• Ability to provide care to women with diverse and complex needs.

Responsabilités

• Deliver relationship-based, continuous care to women and families through pregnancy, birth and early parenting.
• Work within the Midwifery Group Practice model with multidisciplinary partners to improve access for vulnerable women.
• Contribute to trauma-informed care and continuity of care across Fairfield LGA.
• Collaborate with social work, mental health, Aboriginal health, child and family health services.
