Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service is seeking a Registered Midwife to deliver woman-centred, evidence-based midwifery care throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period, including care of newborns and infants, in Gladstone and surrounding communities.
You will work closely with medical, allied health and midwifery teams to ensure safe, high-quality, culturally responsive care, while applying clinical governance, risk management and continuous professional development.
The Women and Newborn Unit provides comprehensive, woman and family-centred care across maternity, gynaecology, midwifery and newborn services. Supporting women across Gladstone and surrounding communities, the service is committed to safe, sustainable and evidence-based care that respects each woman's individual needs, culture and circumstances. With care delivered by skilled and qualified health professionals across a range of settings, the focus is on making quality maternity care accessible and close to home for local families.
