Job summary

Glencore is seeking an experienced site-based engineer in the Greater Ravensworth area, NSW, to manage water and tailings infrastructure across the mine network. You will analyse water and tailings volumes, implement efficiency strategies, and drive design, construction and ongoing maintenance of critical assets.

Qualifications

• Engineering discipline related to water management required.
• Mechanical or electrical trade related to water management acceptable.
• CHPP background familiar with water and tailings advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyse life of mine water and tailings volumes.
• Implement strategies to maximise efficient use of water and tailings assets.
• Design and construct new infrastructure to meet business needs.
• Manage and maintain existing infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with environmental consents across sites.
