Job summary

Grampians Wimmera Mallee Water Corporation (GWMWater) is seeking a Water Service Operator – Mallee (Birchip) to join the Mallee Service Delivery team. Based in Birchip, you will operate, maintain and monitor water and wastewater systems to ensure reliable service delivery to our communities.

The role involves after-hours duty roster, fault response, asset inspections, sampling and emergency support across the Mallee region. A Certificate III in Water Operations is required or to be completed.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Water Operations required or to be completed.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and monitor water and wastewater systems and assets.
• Respond to faults and service interruptions.
• Maintain infrastructure and conduct water and wastewater sampling.
• Undertake inspections and support emergency response activities.
• Participate in after-hours duty roster and operate across the Mallee region.
