Job summary

GWMWater in Ararat/Horsham region invites applications for a hands-on Team Leader to oversee day-to-day operations of the Ararat workgroup, ensuring safe and reliable water and wastewater services. Reporting to the Grampians Operations Manager, you will lead a team, coordinate activities and drive safety, planning and continuous improvement across the Grampians area.

The role involves an after-hours duty roster and may include occasional work in other GWMWater regions to support service

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Water Services Operators across the Ararat/Horsham area.
• Coordinate operational and maintenance activities and monitor asset performance.
• Respond to service delivery issues to ensure safe, reliable water and wastewater services.
• Contribute to workforce development, safety compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in an after-hours duty roster and occasional cross-regional work.
