Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a Senior Field Officer to lead regional VET initiatives and stakeholder engagement across Queensland communities. You’ll guide training pathways, evaluate programs and collaborate with partners to improve employment outcomes.

You will contribute to strategic planning, data integrity and governance while supporting staff and delivering high-quality briefings and reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and mentoring experience in public sector.
• Ability to synthesize complex VET issues and policy guidance.
• Strong collaboration and communication with partners and clients.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, support and advice to industry partners and stakeholders on regional programs.
• Work collaboratively or independently to manage staff and respond to operational needs.
• Drive development, implementation and evaluation of regional activities and governance processes.
• Co-design and deliver regional strategies to strengthen VET pathways and employment outcomes.
• Represent the region in meetings, briefings and ministerial correspondence.
