Job summary

Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) invites applications for a Speech Pathologist – Level 1/2 in Cootamundra for a Permanent Part-Time role up to 16 hours per week, with pro rata entitlements and a competitive remuneration package.

You will join a multidisciplinary Allied Health team to assess, diagnose, and treat clients across the lifespan, with opportunities for professional growth, telehealth delivery, and involvement in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology with SPA membership eligibility.
• Clinical experience across age groups, delivering patient-centred care including via telehealth.
• Strong communication, organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centred speech pathology services in line with standards.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and referrals.
• Provide culturally respectful care and consider Aboriginal health outcomes.
• Engage in supervision, professional development and quality improvement.
