Job summary

Western NSW LHD in Canowindra, NSW, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to work in a small multidisciplinary team. The role covers a paediatric caseload with some outpatient and inpatient adults, 16 hours per week, in a rural health service setting.

The position offers temporary part-time hours with potential extension, NSW Health incentives, and opportunities for professional development through the AHEAD program and Welcome Experience supports.

Qualifications

• Qualified Speech Pathologist with current NSW registration.
• Ability to manage paediatric caseload and some adult caseload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech pathology services to paediatric and some adult clients.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to maximise client outcomes.
• Practical supervision and professional development activities.
• Operate as a sole practitioner with overlap with a senior clinician.
