Job summary

NSW Health in Cootamundra is seeking a Speech Pathologist – Level 1/2 to join a multidisciplinary allied health team. This permanent part-time role (up to 16 hours per week) offers a pro-rata salary of $79,419–$113,301 per annum, plus super and leave loading where applicable.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat clients across the lifespan, with opportunities for professional growth and telehealth delivery within a supportive network.

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology with SPA membership eligibility.
• Clinical experience across a range of practice areas and telehealth.

Key Accountabilities:

• Deliver patient-centred speech pathology services in line with professional, legal, and ethical standards
• Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation including progress notes, care plans, and referrals
• Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating cultural awareness and a commitment to Aboriginal health outcomes
• Participate in clinical supervision, professional development, and quality improvement activities

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology with eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
• Clinical experience across a range of practice areas, delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care including via telehealth
• Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Confident problem-solver with the ability to analyse situations and develop practical solutions using available resources
• Commitment to professional development, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement
