Job summary

Adbri Concrete and Quarries is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead our Alice Springs operation, overseeing both our concrete plant and quarry site. You’ll drive safety, efficiency and compliance while supporting major infrastructure and community projects across the region.

You’ll gain exposure to both concrete manufacturing and quarry operations, developing leadership skills across two key sectors.

• Confidence working autonomously in a regional location
• A willingness to learn both concrete and quarry operations

Responsibilities

• Lead and support site personnel across concrete and quarry operations
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
• Conduct toolbox meetings and oversee daily operational activities
• Ensure compliance with site safety systems, mine management plans and operational procedures
• Manage contractor inductions, documentation and site access requirements
• Oversee contractor activities during crushing and quarry campaigns
• Support workforce performance, development and accountability
• Complete site audits, compliance activities and continuous improvement initiatives
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors and local stakeholders
• Support the sales team through local customer engagement and lead identification
