Job summary

Adbri invites applications for a multi-skilled Quarry Worker at the Penrose Quarry in New South Wales. The role involves operating a range of mobile and fixed plant, including loaders, excavators, dump trucks, dozers, watercarts, and crushing/screening plants.

You will join a small, supportive team committed to safe operations and reliable performance. We seek candidates with current RII competencies or willingness to obtain them, plus a valid driver’s licence and proven quarry experience.

Qualifications

• Current RII competencies or willingness to obtain them.
• Experience operating front-end loaders, excavators, dump trucks, dozers, watercarts is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with crushing and screening plants is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained.
• Operate mobile plant and equipment as required.
• Undertake basic maintenance and housekeeping of equipment.
• Carry out occasional manual handling and general labouring tasks.

The role

Adbri currently has an opportunity for a multi-skilled Quarry Worker to join the team at our Penrose Quarry in New South Wales in a full-time permanent role.

Our Quarry Workers operate a variety of mobile and fixed plant, including loaders, excavators, dozers, dump trucks both rigid and articulated as well as fixed and mobile crushing and screening plants.

Currently we are specifically seeking applications from Mobile Equipment Operators experienced in operating front end loaders, excavators, dump trucks, dozers, watercarts as well as experience with crushing and screening plants.

Responsibilities

What you will need to succeed

• Current RII competencies as well as certificate 3 or 4 in extractive industries will be highly regarded.
• Understanding of fixed crushing and screening operations
• Current drivers’ licence
• Demonstrated experience operating mobile plant and equipment in a quarry or mine
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Work in a team environment.
