Regional Sales Manager – Primary Care | WA + SA

An opportunity to lead, build and shape a new national sales team within an exciting cardiometabolic portfolio.

The opportunity

Join a newly established DKSH national team representing a leading global pharmaceutical company in cardiometabolic health.

As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll lead a team of GP Sales Representatives to deliver strong customer engagement, consistent field execution and commercial results across your region.

Working closely with the National Sales Manager, you’ll translate national strategy into clear regional priorities and help rapidly mobilise the team through recruitment, focused onboarding and hands‑on coaching. You’ll establish the operating rhythms, capabilities and performance standards needed to deliver from the outset.

This is more than managing an established team. It’s an opportunity to build from the ground up, shape ways of working and create a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance aligned with client objectives.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead, coach and develop a regional team of GP Sales Representatives to achieve sales, customer engagement and territory objectives.
  • Translate national commercial strategy into regional business plans, territory priorities and measurable performance targets.
  • Support recruitment, focused onboarding and team readiness to accelerate effective field execution.
  • Build capability through regular field coaching, clear feedback, performance reviews and individual development plans.
  • Embed consistent operating rhythms, customer engagement standards and a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Use sales data, CRM insights, territory analytics, market trends and competitor activity to improve field effectiveness and identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with the National Sales Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to align regional execution with national priorities and client objectives.
  • Provide clear regional performance updates, customer insights and recommendations to support national decision‑making.
  • Ensure all sales activities meet relevant pharmaceutical industry codes, company policies and ethical and compliance requirements.
About you

Based in Perth. You are a commercially driven, people-focused professional who can build capability, inspire others and turn strategy into results. You bring a practical, hands‑on approach to coaching and the adaptability to help a new team get up to speed quickly.

  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare or another performance-driven sales environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching or mentoring capability, with the ability to motivate individuals and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong commercial, analytical and planning skills, translating performance data and market insights into practical action.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills with internal stakeholders and healthcare professionals.
  • The ability to balance regional priorities with national objectives and deliver consistent execution.
  • A collaborative, proactive and solutions‑focused approach, with resilience and confidence in a changing environment.
  • A commitment to ethical sales practices, compliance and professional standards.

Previous pharmaceutical sales leadership experience will be highly regarded, particularly within primary care or a specialist therapeutic area. We also welcome high-performing sales professionals with strong commercial results, demonstrated coaching capability and the ambition to step into regional leadership.
