Job summary

WCP Civil Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own delivery from kick-off to close-out on civil construction projects across regional Western Australia.

You will connect site activity with the program, budget and contractual requirements, lead regional teams and manage clients, subcontractors and production planning with a proactive approach to delivery.

This isn’t a project management role from a distance.

Lead Regional Projects, Not Mining Production.

We’re not looking for someone who simply attends meetings, updates a program and waits for the site team to resolve the difficult issues.

We’re looking for a Project Manager who takes ownership from kick off to the close out.

Someone who understands civil construction, detailed earthworks, roadworks and production. Someone who can connect what is happening on site with the program, budget, client expectations and contractual requirements.

The opportunity

WCP Civil delivers civil construction projects throughout regional Western Australia, including bulk and detailed earthworks, roadworks, infrastructure upgrades and works within MRWA assets and operational CBH facilities.

Our projects change in location, scale and complexity, instead they require a Project Manager who can establish a clear delivery strategy, support regional teams and maintain control to determine whether a project succeeds.

What we're looking for

Demonstrated civil construction project management experience

Strong knowledge of earthworks, roadworks, specifications and contractual requirements

Practical understanding of production rates and heavy-plant utilisation

Strong financial management, forecasting and commercial awareness

Experience delivering regional infrastructure, industrial or CBH projects

Confidence managing clients, subcontractors and project teams

A proactive approach to planning, risk management and problem-solving

Experience with Procore or similar project-management systems

What we're NOT looking for

A coordinator who needs others to take ownership of delivery

Someone who measures progress by activity rather than completed production

A Project Manager who leaves the commercial position until the end of the month

Someone whose experience is limited to supporting mining operations

Someone who manages exclusively through emails, meetings and spreadsheets
