Job summary

The Pharmaceutical Locum Company in Mount Isa, QLD, is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge for two community pharmacies. You will oversee daily operations, lead the pharmacy team, and ensure accurate dispensing, thorough patient counseling and clinical interventions within a high-performing group.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of Australian pharmacy experience with PIC or management exposure, strong communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years Australian pharmacy experience with PIC or management exposure.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer-first communication.
• Strong team leadership and collaboration abilities.
• Sound product knowledge and clinical competence.
• Immunisation accreditation is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and check prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide high-quality patient counseling to improve health outcomes.
• Perform clinical interventions, MedChecks and 8CPA services.
• Manage inventory and place daily stock orders.
