Job summary

Shine Bright Early Years Management (EYM) in Mildura invites a dedicated People and Culture Coordinator to join the Mallee Team. Based in Mildura, you will support HR and OHS functions, coordinating recruitment and onboarding for the region, maintaining HR systems, and advising on employment matters.

This fast-paced role requires travel to Swan Hill and occasional overnight stays, with a focus on building strong staff relationships and contributing to organisational development within the

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related discipline (or relevant work experience).
• Strong experience delivering HR administration and support services.
• Knowledge of HR best practice and relevant employment legislation (Fair Work Act, VECTEA, CSA).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support staff.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and multiple HR systems.
• Current Police Check and Working With Children Check; valid driver's license.
• Experience in early childhood education is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment across the organisation, including ads, shortlisting, interviews and reference checks.
• Facilitate onboarding for staff and trainees; maintain HR files and systems.
• Prepare employment contracts and variations; manage employee records for compliance.
• Provide tailored advice on employment terms and HR matters.
• Support performance management and disciplinary processes per instruments and policies.
• Assist in policy and procedure development and review.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen recruitment strategies.
• Coordinate OH&S admin functions, including WorkCover claims and incident reporting.
