Job summary

Johnson & Johnson, through Abiomed, is seeking an Area Manager to cover Queensland, New South Wales and New Zealand. You will lead a high-performing clinical and commercial team, drive patient growth, revenue performance and adoption of Impella therapy through territory strategy and partnerships.

This role requires strong leadership, extensive interventional cardiology device experience, and the ability to travel across the territory for case support and team development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in hospital environments such as ICU, Cath Lab or theatre with clinical qualifications in nursing, perfusion or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in interventional cardiology medical devices, including commercial delivery, clinical training and education.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the regional team across QLD, NSW and NZ to foster accountability, collaboration and high performance.
• Drive regional patient growth and revenue targets, turning strategy into territory plans.
• Ensure reliable implant, on-call and post-implant support while maintaining safe therapy delivery.
• Accelerate adoption of Impella therapy by equipping clinical teams to identify suitable patients.
• Build partnerships with clinical, hospital and purchasing stakeholders to demonstrate value and address access barriers.
• Expand regional access and utilisation by launching sites and delivering targeted programs.
