Abiomed, a Johnson & Johnson company, seeks an Area Manager to cover Queensland, New South Wales and New Zealand. Lead a clinical and commercial team, drive patient growth and revenue, and promote Impella therapy through territory strategy and partnerships with healthcare professionals.

Travel for case support essential. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in hospital settings (ICU/Cath Lab) and 3+ years in interventional cardiology devices, with a proven ability to engage multiple stakeholders and

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in hospital ICU, Cath Lab or theatre.
• 3+ years’ experience with interventional cardiology medical devices.
• Proven ability to introduce new therapies and engage stakeholders.
• Strong relationships with interventional cardiologists, surgeons, intensivists or heart failure specialists.
• Excellent communication, planning and relationship-building skills.
• Willing to travel across the territory for case support.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional team and develop clinical and commercial talent.
• Drive regional patient and revenue targets; create territory plans.
• Ensure reliable implant, on-call and post-implant support.
• Accelerate adoption of Impella therapy with clinical teams.
• Build partnerships with clinical, hospital and purchasing stakeholders.
• Expand access and utilisation by launching new sites and programs.
