Job summary

WaterNSW seeks an experienced Regional Project Manager - Mechanical to lead mechanical infrastructure projects from concept to handover. The role combines client-side technical leadership with project management and requires reviewing designs, guiding decisions, managing risk and commissioning activities.

The position supports hybrid work, based at Warragamba Dam or Nepean Depot, with a strong focus on collaboration with stakeholders and safe, cost-effective project delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering water infrastructure asset-based projects.
• Experience in managing design processes and site-based construction activities.
• Strong ability to engage internal and external stakeholders and deliver objectives.
• Ability to plan work and deploy resources to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project lifecycle from initiation to closing to improve safety, reduce risk and cost.
• Identify, monitor and present options to stakeholders to meet project outcomes.
• Ensure contractor engagement is clear, compliant and provides value for money.
