Job summary

Kyogle Council is seeking a skilled, hands-on Mechanic to join our frontline maintenance crew. You’ll service and repair a range of plant and fleet equipment and help keep the workshop safe and running smoothly in Kyogle, NSW.

You will be part of a tight team, report faults, maintain records, and lead by example with safe work practices. The role offers a 38-hour week within a Local Government framework and negotiable salary for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience with plant and fleet equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• HC licence and required tickets (RMS AIS, Forklift, First Aid, Confined Space).

Responsibilities

• Service and repair a range of plant and fleet equipment.
• Keep the workshop running safely and efficiently.
• Report faults and maintain accurate records.
