Job summary

REMONDIS Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead Victorian operations across multiple sites. You will drive end-to-end process improvements, optimise performance, and manage P&L while directing multi-disciplined teams in a fast-evolving waste management environment.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory awareness, and a track record of delivering operational efficiency and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of waste management technologies and environmental regulations.
• Experience in a multi-site collections business, preferably in waste industry.
• Hazardous materials management certification desirable.
• Ability to lead and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Optimize operational roadmaps for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive safety, productivity, profitability, cost management, cash flow, and compliance improvements.
• Resource and equip all branch functions including people, structure and equipment.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across waste treatment processes.
• Identify and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulators.
• Lead multiple projects from conception to implementation within timelines and budgets.
