REMONDIS Australia is seeking a Regional Manager to lead Victorian operations across multiple sites, focusing on process optimisation and safety while driving commercial value and efficiency. You will manage multi-site teams, align with regulatory requirements and implement improvements to maximise performance.

Ideal candidates bring business or environmental science background, strong leadership, and proven experience in waste management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
• In-depth understanding of waste management technologies and regulations.
• Experience in a collections business across multiple sites within waste industry encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Optimise operational roadmaps to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive efficiencies and performance improvements across safety, productivity, profitability, cost management, cash flow and compliance.
• Be responsible for adequately resourcing and equipping all business functions of the branch including people, structure and equipment.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
• Identify and implement new technologies and processes to enhance waste treatment efficiency and sustainability.
• Foster relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to enhance partnerships.
• Lead and manage multiple projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
