Job description

Regional Manager - Home Health (WA & SA)

At Australian Unity, we're reimagining how health and care are delivered across local communities. Through our integrated and person-centred model of care, we help customers live healthier, more independent and connected lives.

Australian Unity Home Health is Australia's leading provider of in-home care and support services for older Australians. Combining the strength of a national organisation with locally based care teams, we support tens of thousands of customers across the country to live independently, safely and well in their own homes. While Western Australia is a growing market for our business, you'll be backed by the scale, capability and resources of the nation's largest home care provider.

We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across an established home health program in Western Australia, with oversight of a small developing service footprint in South Australia.

Reporting to the Community Performance Manager, this role leads a team of operational leaders responsible for customer experience, workforce performance, quality outcomes, and service delivery across a diverse and geographically dispersed region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a leader who enjoys developing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, leading through change, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of customers and employees.

This is a full-time role based in West Perth - flexible hybrid work arrangements are available.

About the role

Leading a team of leaders, you will bring together Care Partnering and Service Delivery functions to deliver seamless customer experiences, ensuring customers receive coordinated, high-quality support aligned to their goals, needs and preferences.

You will:

  • Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders and functional leaders across Care Partnering and Service Delivery.
  • Drive a high-performance culture focused on customer outcomes, employee engagement and operational excellence.
  • Ensure customers receive coordinated, responsive and person-centred support that aligns with their goals and needs.
  • Monitor service demand, workforce capacity and customer outcomes to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Drive performance across key metrics including customer experience, workforce utilisation, quality, safety, compliance and financial performance.
  • Partner with clinical, operational and support teams to deliver integrated care and service solutions.
  • Lead change initiatives and support teams through periods of growth, transformation and continuous improvement.
  • Use data, insights and reporting to support decision-making and achieve sustainable business outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across the region.

What you’ll bring

You are an experienced operational leader with a track record of leading leaders and managing large, dispersed teams in complex service environments.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within aged care, health, community services or another regulated environment.
  • Experience leading leaders and geographically dispersed or multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple teams.
  • A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to balance customer outcomes, workforce effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Ability to use data and insights to drive decision-making, continuous improvement and performance outcomes.
  • Experience leading quality, risk and compliance outcomes within a regulated environment.
  • Experience leading teams through change, transformation and growth initiatives.
  • Knowledge of aged care funding models, regulatory requirements and quality standards will be highly regarded. Relevant qualifications in aged care, community services, health, business or a related discipline are also desirable.
